Orangeburg, SC—The SC State softball team will close out their 2009 home season this Saturday-Sunday, April 25-26, when they host Winston-Salem State University in a three-game series.

 

The series, which will be contested at the Lady Bulldog Softball Field on the campus of SC State, will begin with a double-header on Saturday at 1 p.m. and conclude with a single game on Sunday at 12 noon.   Sunday's game will be senior day for the Lady Bulldogs. Seniors Krystal Anthony, Yeshira Butler, Emerald Freeman, and Cierra Reaves will be honored in a pre-game ceremony.

 

SC State will head to Durham, NC next Tuesday, April 28, to face North Carolina Central in a non-conference double-header.  The Lady Bulldogs will close out its 2009 season in Tallahassee, FL, when they take on the Lady Rattlers of Florida A&M in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference three-game series May 2-3.
