Orangeburg, SC—The SC State women's softball team will travel to Winston-Salem, NC this weekend (May 1-2) to take on the Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State. Saturday's double-header is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch while Sunday single game is set for a 12 noon start.
SC State (5-36) will be looking to back in the win column as they fell to Savannah State, 3-5, in their last outing on April 29. Winston-Salem State, who enters the series with a 6-24 overall record, is coming into the series with after falling Gardner-Webb, 1-0, on April 28.
The Lady Bulldogs will return home to close out the regular season when they host Florida A&M in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference series, Saturday-Sunday, May 8-9. Saturday's double-header is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch while Sunday single game is set for a 12 noon start. Sunday's contest will be senior day for the Lady Bulldogs.
