NORFOLK, Va., – South Carolina State junior guard Rashaan Edwards was selected to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Preseason All-MEAC Third Team, presented by Towne Bank, the conference announced.

All awards were voted on by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.
 
Edwards (Jr., G, 6-0, 200), a Third Team All-MEAC Honoree from last season. Played in all 18 games with 17 starts for the Bulldogs last season. Led the team in scoring with 9.5 points and 2.7 rebounds. Ranked 1^st on the team in 3-point field goals made with 33 along with 27.7 minutes played per outing. Scored a career-high 27 points against Jacksonville (12/10/20).
 
The Bulldogs were picked to finish 7^th in the MEAC Preseason Men's Basketball Poll.
