ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State women's soccer announced their 2021 Fall Schedule with nine (9) home matches, including an exhibition and seven (7) road games.

Newly hired head coach Patrick Horne will make his debut on Aug. 12th in an 11.am. home exhibition matchup with USC-Lancaster inside Oliver. C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field.

South Carolina State will then kick-off its season-opener hosting Jacksonville University in a 7 p.m. start on Thursday, Aug. 19th. The Lady Bulldogs then embark on a three-game road trip beginning with Lees-McCrae College on Aug. 22nd at 1 p.m. in Banner Elk, NC, followed by a trip to Hampton University on Aug. 29th at 11 a.m. and a trip to the sunshine state for a showdown at Jacksonville University on Aug. 31st in Jacksonville, FL, beginning at 7 p.m.

A pair of matches versus Alabama State (7 p.m.) on Sept. 3rd and Shaw University (7 p.m.) on Sept. 8th return the Lady Bulldogs back to Orangeburg, followed by a contest at USC-Upstate on Sept. 12th in Spartanburg at 11 a.m. 

Horne and the Lady Bulldogs host Stetson University on Sept. 16th at 5 p.m., before heading to Huntsville, AL take on SWAC foe Alabama A&M on Sept. 19th at 1 p.m. A three-game home stretch gives SC State some comfort when they host Gardner-Webb on Sept. 26th, Virginia Military Institute on Oct. 3rd and Delaware State on Oct. 10th, with all matches beginning at 1 p.m.

SCSU then close out their last two road matches at Allen University on Oct. 20th in Columbia, SC at 3:30 p.m. and Delaware State on Oct. 24th at 11 a.m. in Dover, DE. On Oct. 28th South Carolina State will then host Allen in the regular season finale at the Oliver C. Dawson Stadium in a 7 p.m. start.
