KENNETH "KENNY" BYNUM (Football) – 1993-1997, a native of Gainesville, FL -Ranks as one of the top rushers in school history…Holds several school rushing marks including
- Total yards rushing in a season (1,648)
- Rushing average per game (164.8 in 1996)
- Was also the 1996 rushing leader (1,648 yds.) and scoring leader (14 TDs, 84 pts.)
- Had seven 100-yard rushing games in 1996, tied for second all-time for 100-yard games in a season
- Earned All-MEAC first team honors I 1996
- Runner-up for All MEAC Player of the Year, Black College All-American 1996

Personal
Came to SC State after a strong high school career at Gainesville High School, where he lettered in both football and track and field…A management and marketing major at SC State, he has been the Quality Control Manager at CROM Corporation in Gainesville the past eight years…Was a member of the Gainesville High team that captured the State Track Championship in 1993 where he won the long jump and placed second in both the 100 meters and 200 meters…Currently resides in Gainesville, FL, his hometown.
