THE SERIES: South Carolina State has won the last two meetings, including last year's 42-35 decision in Orangeburg, S.C. B-CU's last victory in the series was a 28-26 road triumph in 2018. B-CU's last home victory in the series was a 12-9 decision in 2017 where the Wildcats blocked not one, but two field goals attempt on the final play of regulation (penalty) and did not score a touchdown.
LAST TIMEOUT: Both B-CU and SCSU had hard roads to travel in their season openers last week. South Carolina State travelled to Orlando and lost 56-10 while B-CU travelled to Miami and fell 70-13.
