ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Get your dancing shoes ready for a night of fun with Coach Buddy Pough.

Celebrating the winningest coach in university history, South Carolina State University will raise funds for the Buddy Pough Scholarship Fund at the Buddy Ball Scholarship Dinner, Dance & Roast on Saturday, Dec 30, 2023.

The fun at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by the program beginning at 7 p.m. Attire for the evening will be "semiformal with sparkle."

All proceeds will benefit the Buddy Pough Scholarship Fund. Ticket sales will begin on Friday, Nov. 24, on www.scsu.edu.

Seating will be limited, so be sure to get your tickets early. Tickets are $150 per person or $1,000 for a table of eight.

The occasion will honor Oliver "Buddy" Pough, who is retiring at the football season's end after 22 years as the Bulldogs' head coach.
