ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State soccer team announced its 2023 schedule Monday (July 17), a lineup that features 10 away games and five home matches under first-year head coach Liz-Amanda Brown. 
  
The Lady Bulldogs open the season on the road Aug. 17 at Georgia State in Atlanta, Ga. Coach Brown's team will continue its road schedule Aug. 20 at Jacksonville State, and College of Charleston Aug. 24. 
 
SC State will make a quick turnaround for its home opener in Orangeburg Aug. 27 against UNC-Asheville at 4:30 p.m. inside Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. The Lady Bulldogs will host the Citadel the following Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 6 pm before returning to the road Sept. 2 to play Winthrop at Rock Hill, SC. 
 
SCSU will finally enjoy a break from busy road action with three of six matches in September at home, highlighted by a non-conference matchup against Charleston Southern Sept. 5. The Lady Bulldogs close out the regular season with a home match Sept. 20 against Gardner-Webb.  

For the season's final road trip, the Lady Bulldogs will face USC-Beaufort in Bluffton, SC.
