Reminder: Vote now for three Bulldogs finalists for SC Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Three former South Carolina State Football standouts are among the 26 finalists for the SC Football Hall of Fame (SCFHOF) Class of 2023 to be enshrined at the 11th Annual Enshrinement Ceremony on April 18, 2024, at the Hartness Hotel in Greenville.

Today, Jan. 8, 2024, is the last day to vote.

Marion Motley (legacy), Barney Chavous (modern era) and Chartric Darby (modern era) are the three Bulldogs among this year's finalists, which consist of 21 modern-era nominees of players, administrators, and coaches, plus five legacy nominees.

The Bulldogs need your vote.

Fan voting, which will determine the five finalists for the 2023 Class, has begun and will run through Jan. 8, 2024. You do not have to donate to vote; however, you may have to set up an account.

Voting is completed online at scfootballhof.org and open to everyone who would like to participate.

The final round voting period provides SCFHOF members, football fans and media outlets an opportunity to vote for up to five candidates - four modern era nominees and one legacy nominee.

A legacy nominee honors those considered outside the modern era and/or have passed away. Each nominee was either born, grew up or played in the state of South Carolina, coached at one of the collegiate football programs in the state or has had a positive and significant impact on the game in South Carolina.
