HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY– Newcomer 
Colin McKenzie finished with a team-high 13 points and three rebounds, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State dropped an 47-58 decision to Northern Kentucky in non-conference action Saturday (Dec. 21) inside Truist Arena.
South Carolina State falls to 6-8 on the season, while Northern Kentucky improve 7-6 overall.
McKenzie connected 3-of-5 from 3-point range, while teammate 
Omar Croskey added eight points and 
Drayton Jones a team-high seven (7) rebounds and five (5) points in the loss.
NEXT UP: The Bulldogs close out the new year on the road versus SEC foe Georgia on Dec.29 in non-conference action in Athens, GA.
