Hipps is a spark plug offensively for the Lady Bulldogs…Has consistently been one of the better shooting guards in the MEAC and will play a major role for the Lady Bulldogs on the perimeter.…2007-08: Was second for the Lady Bulldogs in scoring and assists averaging 13.4 points and 2.6 assists per game…Led the team and the MEAC in free-throw percentage at just over 80 percent….Finished the 07-08 season ranked 2nd in 3-point percentage, 4th in 3-pointers made, 11th in scoring and 13th in assists in the MEAC…Was named MEAC Player-of-the-week once… 2006-07: Had an outstanding freshman campaign…Saw action in all 29 games with 25 starts…Was second on the team in scoring averaging 11.3 points per game…Also led the team in free-throw percentage (75 %) and was second in assists at 1.5 per game…Recorded one double-double…Was ranked in the top 15 in the MEAC in scoring (13th); free-throw percentage (3rd); 3-point field goal percentage (7th); and 3-point field goals made (12th); …High School: Earned many high school honors playing at North Rowan High School in Salisbury, North Carolina ...
