Taylor Ames-Alexander was named MEAC Softball Player of the Week on Feb. 10., while SC State's
Ciara Farrar was named Pitcher of the Week. On Feb.18

Destiny Calloway was named the Pitcher of the Week.
On Feb. 10th:
Ames-Alexander (Jr., INF, Lancaster, S.C.) tallied a .538 batting average through four games for the Lady Bulldogs. She recorded seven hits in 13 at-bats, driving in three RBI with two triples on the weekend. In the season opener against Furman, Ames-Alexander drove in three RBI while laying down a pair of triples in the 8-4 victory.
Ciara Farrar (So., P, Charlotte, N.C.) threw 9.0 innings, including a complete game win against Tennessee Tech, for the Bulldogs collecting a 0.78 ERA. Farrar gave up just one earned run on seven hits.
On Feb. 18th:
Calloway (Jr., P, Evington, Va.) threw 12.0 innings, including a complete game win against Alabama A&M at the HBCU Classic. Calloway collected 2-0 record in the circle with a 1.17 ERA allowing just two earned runs on nine hits. She struck out an impressive 13 batters on the weekend including nine batters in five innings of work against Alcorn State.
Other top performers:
- Marley Quammie (S.C. State) went 4-of-9 (.444 BA) at the plate for the Bulldogs with one double, two runs scored and three stolen bases.
- Jamari Charley (S.C. State) went 4-of-7 at the plate with two RBI and four runs scored with one triple and one home run in a 2-1 week for the Bulldogs.
