ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball team will look to capture back-to-back series wins this Saturday (April 12) when they host the visiting Hornets of Delaware State in an exciting doubleheader inside Lady Bulldog Softball Field.
First pitch is 1:00 pm, followed by and 2
nd game at 3:30 pm.
SPECIAL OCCASION: Four Lady Bulldog softball players will be honored in a pregame ceremony prior to first pitch on "Senior Day".
South Carolina State enters the contest with an 9-16 overall, 5-7 MEAC record after knocking off Coppin State in an 3-0 game series at home in their last outing. Meanwhile, DSU comes in with an 17-19 overall, 5-7 MEAC worksheet and look to rebound after falling to Delaware in a pair of losses 0-11, 0-2 at home.
