ORANGEBURG, S.C. — The South Carolina State women's volleyball team returns to the friendly confines of Dukes Gymnasium this weekend for a pair of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) matchups against Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State.
The Lady Bulldogs will open the two-match homestand Friday, Oct. 23, against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore at 6 p.m., before closing out the weekend Sunday, Oct. 25, against Delaware State University at 12 noon.
Both contests will be played inside Dukes Gymnasium on the campus of South Carolina State University.
SC State will look to take advantage of its home court as the Lady Bulldogs continue their MEAC schedule and seek to build momentum heading into the final stretch of conference competition.
Under the direction of interim head coach Chymaine Guinyard, the Lady Bulldogs continue to focus on improving their overall performance, developing consistency and competing against conference opponents.
Friday's matchup against Maryland Eastern Shore will provide SC State with another opportunity to compete against a familiar league opponent, while Sunday's contest against Delaware State will conclude a challenging weekend of MEAC action.
The Lady Bulldogs will look to establish an offensive rhythm, strengthen their defensive execution and capitalize on opportunities throughout both matches.
With conference competition continuing to intensify, each matchup presents an important opportunity for SC State to gain valuable experience and improve its position in the MEAC standings.
