South Carolina State (0-4) enters Sunday's contest looking to build on an improved offensive effort during the second half of Thursday's 8-0 road loss to The Citadel. The Lady Bulldogs generated 10 shots in the match, including seven after halftime, while placing three attempts on goal.

Denive Guy-Williams, Aaliyah Silver and Sarah Listrom each put shots on target against The Citadel. Listrom and Guy-Williams finished with two attempts apiece as SC State continued to create opportunities despite the outcome.

Wofford (1-2-1) enters the matchup following a 1-0 victory over Gardner-Webb on Thursday in its home opener at Snyder Field. Annie Andrews scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute off a corner kick, giving the Terriers their first victory of the season. Wofford outshot Gardner-Webb 6-2 in the opening half and continued to apply pressure after halftime.

Sunday will mark Wofford's second consecutive home match. The Terriers opened the regular season with a 2-2 draw at UNC Asheville before losses to Richmond and Georgia State.


South Carolina State showed increased offensive activity in the second half against The Citadel, producing seven shots over the final 45 minutes. Guy-Williams forced a save in the 51st minute, Silver followed with an attempt on goal in the 64th and Listrom put another shot on frame late in the match.

The Lady Bulldogs will look to carry that attacking pressure into Sunday's contest as they continue a demanding stretch away from Orangeburg.
