ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State University Department of Athletics will celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month by having a week of "pink" games between October 18 and October 25.
 
Fans are asked to wear pink to these athletic events in support of breast cancer awareness.
 
The women's volleyball team kicks off the SC State Athletics Breast Cancer Awareness Week on Saturday, October 18 in a 3:30 p.m. match against UNC Asheville. The contest will be played in Dukes Gymnasium.
 
The women's soccer team continues the celebration on Wednesday, October 22. The Lady Bulldogs host the College of Charleston in a 7 p.m. game at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
 
The Breast Cancer Awareness Week concludes with the football game against Bethune-Cookman on Saturday, October 25. Kick-off is set for 1:30 p.m. at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
