Antonio Hamilton was named Co-Special Team Players of the Week, along with C.J. Moore of North Carolina Central the league announced Monday.
Howard's Greg McGhee and Florida A&M's Damien Fleming were selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Co-Offensive Players of the Week, while North Carolina A&T's D'Vonte Grant was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Hampton's Jerrell Antoine earned Rookie of the Week honors while Morgan State's Darren Pinnock was selected as the Offensive Lineman of the Week, respectively.
Hamilton (DB, 6-0, 185, 4-Jr., Johnston, S.C.) returned a 98-yard kickoff for a touchdown, his third of the season, against Morgan State.
Other Bulldog Top Performers Darius Leonard (SCSU) collected 15 tackles, 14 solo, with one for a loss of two yards against Morgan State.
Jalen Simmons (SCSU) became the first Bulldog to record 1,000 yards in a season since 2009 (Will Ford) as he ran for 82 yards on 21 carries against Morgan State.
