Box Score DOVER, Del. – Dominique Brown scored on a free kick at the 74^th minute to give the South Carolina State women's soccer team a 1-0 win over Francis Marion in the third-place game of the 2014 Independent Conference Tournament hosted by Delaware State on Sunday morning.
 
SC State ends the season with a 3-14 record, while Francis Marion fell to 3-12-1.
 
Francis Marion outshot the Lady Bulldogs 11-8 and had a 6-3 edge with shots on goal. SC State goalkeeper Haley Austin had six saves in her third win of the season.
 
Delaware State defeated NJIT 2-0 to win the Independent Conference Tournament crown.
