Inside the Game: SC State plays its third home game of the season on Tuesday night when the Lady Bulldogs host USC Upstate (3-2) at 6 p.m. The Lady Bulldogs are coming off a 97-55 win over Columbia College last Friday. Senior Kourtney Williams led the offense in scoring for the second straight game, tallying 20 points.
 
Upstate posted an 85-73 win over IPFW on Sunday for its third consecutive win of the season. The Spartans opened the season with back-to-back losses at No. 19 Iowa (107-56) and Iowa State (98-76), but rebounded to beat Converse (78-50), UNC Greensboro (69-60) and IPFW. Senior guard Sharmayne Edwards leads the team in scoring with 14.8 points per game, while Brittany Starling is the leading rebounder with 7.6 boards per game.
 
Series History: Upstate leads the series 3-1 and has won the last three meetings, including a 58-57 win last season at the G.B. Hodge Center in Spartanburg.
