Antonio Hamilton was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Special Teams Players of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Morgan State's Herb Walker was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate Antonio Jefferson was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Hampton's Jerrell Antoine earned Rookie of the Week honors for the second straight week. Morgan State's Clarence Swain was named Offensive Lineman, respectively.
Hamilton (DB, 6-0, 185, r-Jr., Johnson, S.C.) returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown in the Bulldogs' victory over Savannah State. It was the second straight week that Hamilton has returned a punt for a touchdown in a MEAC game. He finished the game with three punts returns for 76 yards.
Other Top Bulldog Performances Tevin Richard (SCSU) finished with seven tackles, one sack and two tackles for a loss against Savannah State.
Jalen Simmons (SCSU) rushed for 115 yards on 18 attempts with two touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 59-7 win over Savannah State.
Dayshawn Taylor (SCSU) recorded a game-high 8.5 tackles, seven solo, with on tackle for a loss against Savannah State.
