Amber Howard has been named the College Sports Madness Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her exceptional performance during the past week's action. College Sports Madness identifies the players who have had the greatest impact to their team from each conference and on a national basis each Monday.
In three games last week, Howard averaged 13.3 points and 3.3 assists to help the Lady Bulldogs go 2-1. In the 69-62 win over Alabama A&M, she scored a career-high 25 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field, including 7-of-9 from the 3-point line, and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line with three rebounds and two steals in 29 minutes.
