ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The 4^th Annual SC State Women's Basketball Golf Tournament, held on June 21 at Hillcrest Golf Course, was another successful fundraising event for the Lady Bulldog Basketball program.
 
The trio of Shelby Strother (SC State alum), Dylan Mixon and Coley Davis shot 58 in a playoff to capture first place. Lamont Greene (SC State alum), Ed Johnson and Rick Brown also shot 58 and finished second, while the third-place team of Jackie Snow (SC State alum), Mike Glover and Drayl Roberts shot 60. Greene, Johnson and Brown claimed the title in 2013.
 
A total of 99 golfers participated in Saturday's event.
 
"This year's event had a really good turnout and was an overall success," said head women's basketball coach Doug Robertson. "I would like to thank tournament directors Leon Myers and Joe Keitt, the Orangeburg community and all of the golfers, locally and around the state, who supported the tournament."
