BEAUFORT, S.C. – The SC State women's soccer team defeated USC Beaufort 4-1 in the Lady Bulldogs' second exhibition game of the preseason.
The highlight of Wednesday's contest was junior forward
Rhea-Anne Currie's two goals and one assist. Senior midfielder
Dominique Brown added two assists also.
The Sand Sharks scored on a penalty kick in the third 30-minute period.
Head coach
Sandra Burris had this to say about preseason camp: "I am excited about the preseason so far. The team is starting to come together and gel well. I am very pleased with the improvements the team is making every day".
The Lady Bulldogs' final exhibition game is on Monday, August 18 at 2 p.m. at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
