ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The SC State men's basketball coaching staff, head coach Murray Garvin, associate head coach Ken Spencer and assistant coach Rio Pitt, completed the ice bucket challenge on Thursday afternoon.
 
Garvin challenged SC State president Thomas J. Elzey, all SC State head coaches and the athletic department support staff to complete the challenge within 24 hours or make $100 donation to a charity of the coaching staff's choosing.
