ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State continued to build and prepare turning most of their attention to the installation of its offensive and defense schemes, along with devoting some time on special team during its
Tuesday Morning workout at Dawson Stadium.
In the two-hour workout session the fourth of 24 scheduled this fall, the Bulldog coaching staff and players seemed to show a lot of enthusiasm and energy during preseason team and individual workout drills.
"It was another day but overall a good practice for the most part," Pough said. "Overall we had some trouble on the offensive line but we will get that fixed in a hurry. Our guys are getting around pretty good and adjusting well to the scheme of things during camp."
Pough stated, "With the young group of guys he has in the program the Bulldogs really got a chance to develop something special for years to come."
"We have had some great assistant coaches and administration past and present that have helped build a legacy here at SC State. It's always good to see a young man leave this program in a better situation than started."
The Bulldogs will hold their first practice in full gear Wednesday morning, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The first of two-a-days, which will be staggered, begins Thursday (9:30 a.m.; 7:10 p.m.).
