ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State men's and women's cross country teams head to Mt. Pleasant, S.C. to take part in The Will Wilson Citadel Invitational on Saturday.
 
Freshman Elijah Case has led the Bulldogs at each of their three meets this season. He posted a season-best 8K time of 31:11.13 last Saturday at the Winthrop University Adidas Cross Country Invitational.
 
The Lady Bulldogs were led by freshman Marketa Marcanikova last weekend. She ran the 5K race in 19:19.54 to finish in 18^th place. Freshman Jennell Jones has been another top performer for the women. She ran a season-best 20:36.21 at the USC Upstate Eye Opener three weeks ago.
