NORFOLK, VA—South Carolina State freshman guard
Edward Stephens was named to the 2015 Mid-Eastern Athletic (MEAC) Men's Basketball All-Tournament the league announced.
Stephens (G, 6-2, 175, Fr., Columbia, S.C.) led the Bulldogs to their first tournament win in five years (2010) with a 63-54 win over No. 10 North Carolina A&T in the opening round of the MEAC Basketball Tournament.
He led the team in scoring with 12.0 ppg and 3.0 rebounds, while earning MEAC Rookie of the Week six times during the season and was named to the All-Rookie Team.
SC State finished the season 7
th in the league with an 11-21 overall 7-9 MEAC record.
