VIRIGINA --The South Carolina State men's tennis teams earned a pair of key victories over the weekend in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play.
In the first match, the Bulldogs dominated the Pirates of Hampton 7-0 on Saturday (March.28)
"Thought guys played well and it's always tough traveling and playing the same day but we responded well, said SC State head men's tennis coach
Hardeep Judge.
Judge stated, "It was great to see our freshman Vlad Yanchenko getting healthy enough to start playing."
Meanwhile, on Sunday (March.1) South Carolina State defeated Norfolk State 4-2 in a tough head to head matchup.
The Bulldogs extends its winning streak to five straight with wins over SCAD (7-0), Kennesaw State (4-3), Nicholls State (4-3), Hampton (7-0) and Norfolk State (4-0).
SC State returns to action on Tuesday (March.3) against Gardner-Webb University in Boling Springs, NC. First serve begins at 3:30 p.m.
