NORFOLK, Va. – South Carolina State junior sprinter Jarad Jeter was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
 
Jeter was the Bulldogs' highest individual finisher this past weekend at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina University. He finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 47.83, the fastest 400m time in the MEAC so far this outdoor season.
 
Both Bulldog track teams are off this weekend, but will return to action on April 1 at the Savannah State Tiger Twilight.
