ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's tennis team improve to 11-2 on the season after a, 5-2, victory over the Winthrop Eagles (11-5) Tuesday (March 31) at the 
Hardeep Judge Tennis Courts.
The Bulldogs claimed the doubles point early on with Carey/Figura def.Comerford/Nagovnak (8-3) and Vitek/Back knocking off Chen/Ryan (8-4).
In singles action, sophomore 
Martin Figura def. Dylan Comerband(6-3, 6-2) at the No 2. spot; freshman 
Vladyslav Yanchenko def. Steven Patrick (6-4,6-2) at the No. 3 spot; sophomore 
Soufiane Mouline def. Peter Nagovnak (6-3,7-5) at the No. 5 spot and freshman 
Jakub Vitek def. Joshua Ryan (6-1,6-2) at the No. 6 spot.
Mouline remains perfect on the season with a 12-0 singles records.
SC State returns to action on Thursday (April 2) against Bethune-Cookman in MEAC play in Daytona Beach, Florida. First serve is 10 a.m.
