NORFOLK, Va. – Senior guard
Kourtney Williams was named to the 2014-15 All-MEAC Second Team the league announced on Friday. All awards are voted on by the conference's head women's basketball coaches and sports information directors.

Williams, who also earned second-team honors last season, is averaging a team-leading 16.9 points per game in 27 games this season. In conference play, she averaged 18.4 points per contest.
Williams surpassed the 1,000-point mark on Jan. 31 against Delaware State when she hit a 3-pointer with 9:07 left in the game. She needed 26 points to reach 1,000 for her career and finished the game with 28. She has tallied 1,124 career points heading into the 2015 MEAC Tournament. She also had a career game against Norfolk State on Jan. 24 when she dropped in a career-best 37 points in the win.
