ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State University football team took time out of their preseason workouts on August 11 to participate in a worthy cause providing community service in the Orangeburg community.
About 15 players along with members of the coaching staff spent their morning volunteering with Edisto Habitat For Humanity.
Coaches say the team was quick to jump in and volunteer in the community. They say it's one small way they can say thank you.
Edisto Habitat for Humanity members along with Century 21 The Moore Group sponsored the house and were on deck to show support during this great initiative.
