ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State head coach Buddy Pough will start the 2016 campaign, beginning Monday (Aug. 29) with the Bulldog Football Press Conference.

The weekly press conference will be held at 12 noon, each Monday during the season in Staley Hall room 225 on the campus of SC State University.
Pough who is entering his 15^th season at the helm, is 112-51 overall and is the second winningest coach in school history behind legendary coach Emeritus Willie Jeffries.

SC State opens the season Saturday, Sept. 3 against University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. at Bright House Network Stadiums. Kickoff is 7:04 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN3.
