ORANGEBURG, S.C. — The South Carolina State women's volleyball team will look to build on its recent momentum when the Lady Bulldogs host Delaware State in a key Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) showdown Sunday, Oct. 25, at noon inside Dukes Gymnasium.

The conference matchup will be broadcast live on the MEAC Network.

SC State enters Sunday's contest with renewed confidence after snapping its MEAC losing streak with a 3-0 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Friday. The win provided a much-needed boost for the Lady Bulldogs as they continue their push through the conference schedule.

Under interim head coach Chymaine Guinyard, the Lady Bulldogs will look to capitalize on their home-court advantage and carry that momentum into another important league matchup.

Delaware State presents another conference challenge for SC State as both programs continue competing for positioning in the MEAC standings.

The Lady Bulldogs will look to establish an offensive rhythm early, limit unforced errors and maintain consistency at the net. Strong serving, defensive communication and timely offensive execution will be important factors against the Hornets.

SC State will also look for contributions from its offensive attack and defensive specialists to maintain pressure throughout the match.

In last season's meetings, Delaware State defeated SC State in four sets in Orangeburg before the Lady Bulldogs pushed the Hornets to five sets in Dover, Delaware. SC State will look to reverse those results Sunday in front of its home crowd.

With the conference schedule progressing, Sunday's matchup offers SC State another opportunity to establish consistency, gain momentum and strengthen its position heading toward the MEAC postseason.
