ORANGEBURG, S.C. — The South Carolina State University women's soccer team returns to action Friday night for one final battle as the Lady Bulldogs host Tuskegee University in their 2026 season finale at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., with SC State looking to finish the season on a positive note in front of its home crowd.

Under the direction of second-year head coach Andrew Richardson, the Lady Bulldogs will look to showcase their determination, competitive spirit and continued development as they conclude another season of collegiate competition.

Friday's matchup provides South Carolina State an opportunity to build on its progress throughout the season while closing out the campaign with a strong performance against the Golden Tigers.

Goalkeeper Alexa Smith, who wears No. 1 for the Lady Bulldogs, is featured in Friday's match day spotlight and will look to help anchor the SC State defensive effort.

The Lady Bulldogs will aim to establish an early offensive rhythm, maintain possession and capitalize on scoring opportunities while limiting Tuskegee's attacking chances.

Playing on their home field, SC State hopes to use the energy of Bulldog Nation to its advantage in the final contest of the 2026 campaign.

The season finale also provides another opportunity for the Lady Bulldogs to demonstrate the growth, resilience and teamwork that have helped shape the program under Richardson's leadership.
