BALTIMORE, Md. — The South Carolina State women's volleyball team continues Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play Sunday, Nov. 1, when the Lady Bulldogs travel to face Morgan State University in a 1 p.m. showdown at the Bears' home court.

Under the direction of interim head coach Chymaine Guinyard, South Carolina State looks to deliver a strong performance as the Lady Bulldogs continue their push through the conference schedule.

The matchup presents another opportunity for SC State to build momentum, strengthen team chemistry and showcase its development against MEAC competition.

South Carolina State will look to establish an offensive rhythm early, improve its defensive consistency and capitalize on scoring opportunities throughout the match. Strong serving, effective communication and limiting unforced errors will be important factors against the Bears.

The Lady Bulldogs will also rely on their setters and defensive specialists to create opportunities at the net while maintaining pressure throughout the contest.

Sunday's meeting is another important conference test for South Carolina State as the team works toward a strong finish to the 2026 season.

The two teams previously met Oct. 4 in Orangeburg, with Morgan State escaping with a five-set victory. The Lady Bulldogs will look to reverse that result in Sunday's rematch.

Morgan State enters the contest with a 7-15 overall record after falling to North Carolina Central on Friday. The Bears have demonstrated their ability to compete in closely contested conference matches, including a five-set victory over Howard on Oct. 25.

Following Sunday's contest, South Carolina State returns home to host Norfolk State on Friday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. inside Dukes Gymnasium.
